My 9 year old tb who currently is not being ridden has gone lame just as i was getting him ready to go back into work. Noticed today that he was nodding and though he is weight bearing on all four he is slightly lame on his right fore. There is no heat or swelling and his feet were ok, no stones etc He was hooning about yesterday and the ground in his field is rock hard, could he be abit foot sore? He was shod on sat and though his soles are thin there was no sign of soreness..really just wanted to know what other people thought? Obviously will get vet out if things dont get better

the ground is rockhard so he could just be foot sore, he could have slightly tweaked it galloping round. give it a couple of days and if it gets worse then call vet.
