okayy,
my 14.2hh traditional cob was kicked in the field and has taken a good few blows to the sholder/chest area, this was over 2 weeks ago now, i gave him a few days rest when it first happened as i thought it may just be an initial pain, shock reaction and the lameness improved,
now he walks and trots up sound but after to much trot or a silly buck or leap on the lunge it appears his muscles sieze up and he goes lame on his on his fornt left leg through his sholder
a few hours later and he will be fine again.
i have had the vet up and she took bloods which showed a rasied enzymes level which indicates some mucsle damge but she said not enought damage to make him go this lame
and just told me to rest him for longer, she didnt say what was wrong or hanst asked to do a futher examination i havent heard from her since!!
does anybody have any idea what is causing this to happen to my baby?
