well the vet came and saw him and she has diagnosed him with a corn. she has taken his shoe off and give us some bute to give him. the farrier is coming on tuesday to dig it out, and hopefully he should be fine by friday as she thinks its very small. he is muhc comfier now the shoe is off so must have just been under it making him uncomfortable.
what causes corns?
has anyone experience with them and how long did yours take to heal?
any other info on corns etc. would be very helpful...
so slightly annoyed its not just a tweak as would have been easier but am happy its nothing to do with joints etc etc.
lots of vibes for the lame horse as need quick recovery!
typica of him to go lame at half term... obviously timed it! lol
