Hi every one, opinions needed. My mare is currently living out on very good grazing with a muzzle on. I noticed a couple of weeks ago when I checked her (I check on her twice a day) her near front hoof was warm, I brought her in for the night and in the morning it was the same to the touch as the other hoof so didn't think any more of it.
Brought her up to night as she is stopping in due to the weather she started to trot and she looked lame in trot, checked her hoofs again and she has slight heat in the near front again. Asked some one to trot her up and she defiantly isn't happy when turning. She doesn't have shoes on and hasn't had for a number of years due to not being ridden. I have left her in and check her in the morning.
Has anyone got any ideas?
