Lame in both hindlegs

My Spanish chap has had problems with right canter lead, bunny hops etc. had saddle checked, and now vet for back. Vet has said lame in both hind limbs & to go for full work up at equine hospital after a good look today. Feel a bit sick! Any ideas folks?

I had this last year, mri showed ddft in rear hind (very unusual apparently) anyway had drugs and shoes off now, collateral hinds not good either but is being reassessed at the end of the month. You are doing the right thing getting it investigated, there are people on our yard who when told by the back lady or whoever that they need to get the vet just ignore them and carry on which is just cruel imo.
