I have a 7yr old mare who is sound in trot & canter when lunged in the field but is lame on her right fore when on concrete/stoney ground in walk.
I suspect she's just footsore and am thinking of getting her shod in front, what do you think???
She also has an old looking scab about the size of your little finger at the top of this leg on the inside, would this cause lameness ??
There is no heat in her leg or foot and she is well in herself, just reluctant on the hard stoney ground.
Any advice very much appreciated !!!
