lame just in time for half term

daughters mare has never been lame in the 2 years weve had her but has timed it now just in time for a week off from college. we suspect she has pulled a muscle either in her back or hindquarters as was sound at dressage training tues night but worked quite hard although not sweaty or blowing because it was in the evening was then in her stable overnight . will get the mctimony lady out who has seen her before and rest her but had plans and just wonder how they seem to know . tring to be philosophical as my mare used to always go lame at the start of my 2 week summer hols.

It's the law of sod I am afraid. I am a teacher and my horse usually throws a shoe or gets a random minor injury in time for the holidays! Hope horse is better soon! It's so frustrating.
