Looking for some advice. Jumped my mare at a 3 day BS on friday she was fine, took her back on Saturday and was in the practise ring and came up to a large wide oxer which she put in a flyer over it, she landed fine was then walking about and a few mins later she felt unlevel, jumped off and lead her outside , then she was clearly lame, took her back home and she was fine when she got home, when being trotted up on road, left her in stable over night, took her out in monring trotted her up again and she was sound so we competed on sunday too and all was fine.
She was off on monday and had a jumping lesson last night which she was fab in, the last fence she jumped she really used herself , rounding her back and tucking right up. Left the school to take her a walk to cool down and felt the unlevelness again, jumped off lead her to yard, trotted her up on concrete and she was clearly very lame again, stabled again last night and trotted up sound again today...!
I have called vet he said well no point him coming out if she is not lame, called physo and she coming to see her next week.
Any what have any thoughts on what could be going on.
no head, swelling , lumps , bumps etc on her at all and of course the lameness is only lasting a short period of time.
