Horsie is showing signs of lameness only when in collected left lead canter.
All trot work appears to be fine - transitions - halt to trot all ok. Working and medium canter appears normal.

Was really kicking high with suspected leg several weeks ago and bucking and kicking wooden wall while attempting to do flying change left to right.

Also started walking hill work on steep hill...

Could this be caused by muscle trauma?? Am at a loss - should i call vet or physio or will this cure itself?

Any ideas?

No; def not bridle lame. Was throwing wobblies whilst trying to change lead that's all I know. But that was 3 weeks agao...would it take that long to show?

Funny question I know, but couldn't be difficult monthly season could it?

You will need a vet first before a chiro anyway if he's lame. collected work not only stresses the muscles but also the tendons. I'm guessing he's a competition horse so I personally would get him checked incase its the start of something more.

had this a couple of times with 2 different horses, both times it was muscular and chiro sorted it. hoping its as simple for you

Currently my lad is just slight off and have left message for my chiro, if she can't fix him will obviously call vet but its very very minor and he had similar before and he was sore in his shoulder. was fine after
