This is a bit of a weird one but back in June my horse was shod then exactly a week later he was very slightly lame on his nearside fore so I field rested him for a week he was slightly better but still short on the left rein, then I noticed he had a very slight flare on that hoof on the inside so I got my farrier back to shoe him again and he was sound and has remained sound up until today, same thing very slightly short on the same leg and he was shod last Tuesday so basically a week ago, his foot is looking ok no flares but this is his flatter foot so less of a heel the other front is more upright, do you think it's just a coincidence with the shoeing or something is going on with the hoof balance?
