So my horse is lame, had a farrier check his foot as he recently had an abscess but nothing, however getting another farrier to check him this eve as I think it could be the other foot now! Was hard to tell before as he's not yet learnt to trot in hand! But have been watching him walk in the field!
Anyway I was feeding and hoof picking him this morning and when he'd finished he was munching so grass! I had the 'poorly foot' up and he was fidgiting, moved his back feet forward and bit then fell forwarded on to his front knees but just carried on grazing like it was perfectly normal! I made him get up and he seemed fine but I wonder if this is linked to his lameness or if he's just being special!
He's going to be 2 tomorrow so he's only young!
