Hello,
Long story short- My horse had a corn in the right foot back in febuary and it went then came back:rolleyes: where the vet had cut away at the hoof to get too the corn he was left with a sore patch and was bruised from where he had no shoe (to poultice) so farrier padded it and i had all clear from vet/farrier to do full work and i could bring him back into jumping.
Now i rode for about a month, just on the flat, bit of hacking and a few x poles.I went away for 2 weeks so he was on part livery and had the 2 weeks off, i came back tuesday and the grooms had told me that once again my horse has gone lam:confused:. So called the vet straight away who watched him trot up and on a circal (was much worse trotting on the circal) and nerved blocked the right foot and he was better but still not 100% so he thinks the problem is still coming from the front feet so now we have x rays booked for monday...
I Was just wondering if any experianced people in here know whats going wrong?
(I know you can't tell very well from this and i will find out monday but googling is never a good idea:eek:)
Many thanks x

My first port of call would have been the farrier to check for the re-occurance of the corn. If it was there, once treated, a corn shoe should then be put on.

If it's not this, it could be anything.

Let us know how you get on.
