My horse has been lame for the last couple years without a definite prognosis (suspensory ligaments issue), he was in a small field and he improved lots. Anyway he moved Into a larger field in may, he started to go stiff again after a few weeks, hes now back In a smaller field.
The last couple days I've noticed that hes a little lame (seems to walk better on harder totally flat ground), but when hes putting his hind leg down its slightly shaky.. the farrier was out saturday, I've pressed and prodded around and he doesn't seem bothered.
I'm going to ring the vet for advice in the morning but wondered if anyone had any Ideas?
(other info - he's a 19 yo, shire x and I've given him bute last couple days)
