I don't know if anyone can advise but I am worried about my heavyweight cob. When I watch him in the field and when I go out to catch him and he walks up t the gate he seems a bit short on his off-hind. I have lunged him on grass and concrete, which I hate doing, and he does not seem lame when doing this?? Also when I catch him and walk him in he seems fine, turning no problem either etc.
I wonder if I should just get the chiropractor in as he was a bit silly last weekend when I hacked out.
He is lazy by character but he is only 9 and I am worried it is the start of something more serious. Think I am going to give him the weekend off!!
Also forgot to mention that after I rode him last Saturday, when I put him back out in the field he started kicking at his belly with that leg, then went to roll, got half way down that jumped back up again. I thought it was not right at the time as he always has a good roll after exercise. Did not notice any problem the next day and but he was naughty to ride. Then Monday eve when getting him in I noticed he was slightly short/lame?!
