Please can anyone offer their opinion on my horse's lameness.
She evented in Sunday and was fine the next day, she's out at night anyway and spent her day off in the field aswell. All legs cold, lump free and sound wandering around.
She came in yesterday sound, stood for an hour before coming out the box for exercise lame. She was slightly unlevel in walk, but was more noticeably lame in trot. Still not obviously nodding, but clearly not right. Both hind legs were slightly swollen around the front of her hocks and a bit scabby, like a sweat rash. They were a matching pair and she wasn't overly keen on them being touched .I thought it was quite likely from going through a brush fence plus possible irritation from grease maybe not washed off thoroughly enough? Couldn't see it as a cause for lameness, especially as she was lifting her head in trot.
On her off fore though was a lump on the inside just above her fetlock, that is best described as looking like a windgall, but was hard. No heat and very happy to be poked and prodded.
Today the back legs are fine, perfect to touch, just pinprick scabs left, the foreleg is unchanged but she is definitely lame in walk and very pronounced in trot on her off fore. She is fully weight bearing and happy to turn on it. Still no heat or reaction when palpated.
The vet is coming tomorrow as they couldn't get there today, but I'm really confused! Could it be something as simple as bruising that's coming out?
Sorry for the long post, just thought all elements would create a better picture!

I probably wouldn't turn out til vet has been personally, bearing in mind the possibility of a tendon injury...it does sound a bit like a tendon/ligament injury.

I know it's not ideal, but unfortunately she is on grass livery, so I borrow a box in the daytime for times when flies are bad etc. She was in properly last winter and tied up quite severely, so whilst she is eventing fit it has been better for her to be out 24/7.
She will be in today until the vet arrives, but I would have thought if it was a tendon/ligament she wouldn't have come in sound?
Would there not also be a reaction when palpated? Sorry for questions, just been lucky enough to avoid tendon injuries before!

She's showing pretty clear indications of tendon damage (from your description). They are not always hopping lame, and quite often be a little 'on / off'.

So if in doubt, always treat it as such with cold hosing and immediate veterinary attention.

Yay! Not tendon or ligament!
Vet thinks it is a knock as suspensory branch is fine and only slightly unlevel after flexion. Wants her to have 2 days off and out, if not 100% by Saturday will start a course if bute.
If swelling is still there may syringe, but thinks it's very unlikely.
Having just googled annular tendon, I can completely see why my description looks like that, so hard to diagnose on a forum, but really appreciate the responses as I was able to ask the vet specifically about this.
Roll on Saturday and a hopefully sound horse!
