Lameness question

It could be bilaterally lame so only obvious in canter, also back pain can show more in canter as it springs through where in trot it can be flatter through the back.
I had one horse that was only slightly lame behind, it only showed as the injured foot landed on the inside, it just hopped off the ground because it couldn't land and push, if that makes sense, that was an arthritic fetlock joint.
