Sox has had on and off lameness since he was attacked in the field, we have had the vet out and he has been prescribed bute. He's been on box rest and we've also tried keeping him out 24/7. We are now trying the method of out for a few hours during the day and in at night.
But he's still lame - mainly in trot but also when turned or on an uneven surface. He is lame on his right foreleg, there is some heat above the coronet band. This is the leg he was kicked in when he was attacked in May
We are getting the vet out and going down the route of nerve blocks and x-rays but has anyone else experienced this with their horses?
