My horse went down with metabolic lami last Feb, he is now fully recovered and back in full work. We have just moved yards, due to sale of the place we were at. He was muzzled at our old yard as there was quite a bit of grass, and only goes out for 2-3 hours a day. Where we have moved to the grass is very very short, and I think he would struggle eating with the muzzle on and get very stressed, I am only putting him out for 1-2 hours a day now and he is being exercised everday. He is on soaked hay, and blue chip lami light. I am a bit worried as spring is coming and I would never want him to go through that again. Do you think he will be fine, if I leave him with out, but put it on when the grass gets a bit richer and longer? or should I just put it on him? Thanks
