With ref to my post the other day about my not being sure if her pony had Colic or Laminitis. It ended up being COLIC!!! On day 3 he looked very uncomfortable and it was beginning to look more like colic, stomach was tightening, digging up his bed, lying down a lot, I called he vet who then gave him a jab to calm the spasms. He looked ok yesterday, somebody even rode him out. He seems much more comfortable now, not perfect, but he hasn't trashed or dug his bed this avo and it eating his hay. I have been advised to put a muzzle on him or put him in a starvation paddock as previously he was just going out for an hour a day and obviously binge eating.
