Laminitis survey

Dear all,


I am a veterinary student at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary studies, and as part of the course we are required to complete a research project on a subject area of our choice.

I am interested in investigating the education of horse owners on laminitis, and what action people take when their horse first presents with signs of laminitis, and as such have designed the attached survey, which will only take a short time to complete.

OP, you need to get this ok-ed by Admin aka the Fat Controller (TFC). Apparently there have been some dodgy "surveys" that are then used for marketing and the like. TFC has asked this - check it out under the "stickies" at the top of the New Lounge forum.

Just to say thanks to everyone who has filled in the survey, all help is greatly appreciated! If any of you have friends who have had laminitics and may not see this online here, please point them this way, the more replies I get the better the picture built up!

I would also like to confirm that the survey has been approved by the fatcontroller.

Unable to as both are now pts. And it was Cushing's caused the laminitis though EMS might have played a part in the catastrophies.

Done. Even though I lost my horse to it due to a hopeless vet.

It might be worth including that 'option' in some of the questions? i.e. the return to work part as sadly lots don't make it.
