Well Vet has been today and rather than both of Moos front feet being equally sore her left fore is now worse

. So she is booked into the Equine hospital at 9.30am tomorrow for X-rays and then the farrier is booked for the afternoon.

Wish me luck please and if anyone has any spare vibes going can they please wing them Moo's way - I have had her for over 10 years with not a day sick or sorry and its upsetting to see her lame (although I think she is secretly liking being treated like a princess with her very deep shavings bed when the boys are out in this foul weather!

Can anyone offer any advice how to travel her - should I put deep shavings in the lorry to help as its a 3/4 hour journey either way or just on the rubber matting as per usual

((((((((((((((((((VIBES)))))))))))))))))) for Moos and Maloo

I would travel her with deep shavings.
Is there no way your vet can bring an xray machine to her? Thats a long journey for a horse in the throw's of laminitis.

As above, are they not able to bring the Xray machine to you, as my Vet always had to for me, as Motor does not load and also the stress and strains of travelling are not something I would put a horse through, if there is an alternative

Personally, I wouldn't travel her. But would ask the vet to x-ray her at the yard.

Good luck and postive vibes to your lovely horse.

Unfortunately the mobile xray is not an option until next week and vet/farrier do not want to wait that long, but have both given advice on best way to travel her and luckily in our lorry she will be sideways on.

Will update you all tomorrow - fingers crossed.
