Hi all.

I am looking for either a field to rent or a livery yard ideally north of Carlisle.

All year turnout is a must, or even all year grass livery. (Horse will live out)

Pm me with details please.

D :)

Greenlands does grass livery,
Nord Vue has all year turn out although they're stabled overnight in the winter but we haven't had a single day this winter where we weren't allowed to turn out.

nord vue probably is then - it's 10 minutes down from J42 on the A6.

The only yard properly north of the city I know if Rockcliffe and the fields there are really wet.
One thing to try is go to the tack shop in Longtown as they keep a list of livery yards

Maybe asking around, although I appreciate it's a fairly rubbish horse city (from where I've been previously!). I remember driving past a yard actually on the a595 just outside of the city. Ask at lloyds tack shop, they might know something?

There's a livery yard at Castleton Estate, west of Longtown.
Blackdyke, north of Carlisle.
Anne Rutherford, east of Longtown.
Also a livery yard in Canonbie.
It would be worth asking and looking at the boards in Lloyds., Kingstown, Eskdale saddlery, Longtown and Blendbetter, just south of Longtown.
