Land Mortgages- help!

I suppose it will depend on many things. How much you need to borrow, how much deposit you have, what other security you have, ie house, your salary. The Agricultural Mortgage Company may offer some advice. Be very cautious if you come across Nationwide Corporate Financing offering loans for land purchase. As far as i have been led to believe, they are trading on the name Nationwide and have nothing to do with the Building Society of the same name.

Perhaps the cheapest way to purchase would be to extend the mortgage on your home. particularly if the land is adjacent or very close to it.

Hi thanks for that, I wouldn't be able to add to my house mortgage at the moment. The land I'm looking at would be 50k and I would prob only have 5k deposit so guess I would need to secure against my house
