i have heard of a small parcel of land for sale that is landlocked.it is accessable via a short footpath.i know all the legal doings would have to be looked into, but ,can you lead a pony on a footpath?or a pig or a cow?can you take a large mower on a footpath?
perhaps a grey area.
any thoughts or ideas?

No you can't take livestock on a PF as far as I know, however you could have an Easement drawn up which will allow you/your animals passage over this piece of land. A public footpath can run over an Easement and will not stop your entry, but will not allow others to use as a ROW apart from as a footpath.

its for tender and in the small print it states that the vendor doesn`t have to take the highest offer.never heard of that before!
