Large bale haylage

How much is everyone paying for large bale haylage at the moment please?

Just paid £50 for 4ft rectangle. Would be £40 a bale if I coulda have more than one at a time.

Big round bale, £50 delivered. He usually delivers them 2 at a time, that's all we can fit in the yard.

I pay £49.50 for a square which is 9 bales.
I think the round bale is a similar price.

So has the prices difference between hay and haylage become less in the last few years? I always thought it was considerably more expensive but we py £40 for large round bale hay and £50 for large squares.

I pay basically the same for both £38 hay, £37.50 haylage, delivered - large squares.

Not haylage, but just bought two large round bales of hay for £25 each. Paid similar for haylage in desperation last year

£50.50p for large bale haylage delivered by a branded haylage company. I could possibly get cheaper but they test all their different types of bales for moisture/sugar etc with is very important to me having fatties and offer I think 5 different types which they are happy to mix and match on pallets which when you have a fussy Shetland who who keeps changing her mind what she likes is very handy it weighs 240kgs which I know for sure as I weigh every bit I use

Mine is extortionate at £57 per bale but the farmer can deliver me a single bale at short notice where my previous supplier would only delive r three at a time and I struggled to protect them from other liveries/horses biting into them (!), so I am paying for convenience as well (and to support a loval semi-urban community farmer!)
