Having moved from a yard where they sold their own hay to us I am now on a yard where we have to find our own and I am struggling! My girlie is out 24/7 and is currently having the small bags of haylage at around £7.00 a bag from the local feed merchant! These aren't lasting long! Does anyone know of anyone who could supply large bales of hay or haylage? I know its probably a no but its worth asking :)

Elm Farm in Claygate has some and will deliver - but I don't know if Simon is keeping them only for established customers. Give him a ring and see.

If you can get to Rokers at Normandy (opposite merrist wood) they are selling 45+kilo bales for £7.50.....and apparently have a solid supply!

Thanks Shay, I do use Elm Farm but had heard the large bales of hay were £55!!! I will speak to Simon though as running out of options!

Thanks Joeanne, I can get to Rokers. It would be handy if the snow disappeared so I can get the lorry out and then I can collect lots!

Rokers don't have them anymore, we bought the last of it last week and they've said they're not getting anymore as the price went up and they had too many coming back. They do have easypack (horsehage size) for £5.15 a bag but they're not very big.
