Large ring Loose ring snaffle question

Hi,
My mare is in a large ring loose ring snaffle. Can anyone tell me what action the large rings have compared to the normal sized rings on a normal loose ring snaffle?

Large rings are more usual on racing bits & they help prevent the bit being pulled through the horses mouth.
