My horse has a tear to the radial head of her DDFT. She has had a scope into the tendon sheath and the torn bit tidied up. She is just finishing her 6 weeks box rest then will be on at least 6 weeks small paddock turnout. My vet says this is a rare tear, with it being the radial head, and not sure of prognosis. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this type of injury and also if people think magnetic boots help with tendon injuries or anything else I can do to help it heal?
