Got the worst bit over and done with!
She warmed up lovely, felt really good and pretty focused.
Literally just as I was about to start I heard a pack of hounds, huntsman's horn and about 20 kids gallop across the racecourse just below the dressage. Moon heard too and Moon rather likes hunting!
It wasnt dreadful, she tried hard but was naturally a little distracted. She went back to her green habits- head up into canter but she was much straighter than last week and the canterwork was better.
She scored a fairly mid-range 38.6

The course is pretty nice, odd mix of very easy and pretty challenging but loking forwards to riding it tomorrow morning

What bad luck. 38.6 is good - considering. The only time I did dressage up there my horse kept staring across the vast distant plains and was very distracted as well. All that open space doesn't make your life easy - let alone a pack of hounds....

Well done. You would of thought the hunt would of kept away knowing the HT were on.
Good luck tomorrow. I'm looking forward to meeting Moon.

Boss - I agree about the xc some really easy, some more challenging...mine is quite green so we'll see what happens!
