Has anyones horse ever suffered with this? My boy is, hes doing well with lots of support from the vet but I was wondering if anyone else has ever dealt with it. Thank you.

This started with diarrhoea which became quite profuse. Thankfully the vets were called straight away. We found 4 red worms 3 days after it started. He has a fab worming plan and even though we found worms his worm count was nil. He's had panacur 5 day and is on veterinary probiotic paste. His bloods showed his protein was low and he's being retested on fri. 3 days after the diarrhoea cleared it came back for 24 hours. Apparently this can happen. The other thing is, this can go on for years?? He's lost a lot of weight, his coat is dry and unkempt looking and I'm just wondering if he will always be like this? Is there anymore I can do for him? How many years is this likely to go on? Sorry for all the questions. X
