hi all i own a 15yr old with this and was wondering if anyone knew how to make his life easier i know basic no accessive exercise and no galloping 24/7 ( wouldnt anyways) but is there anything else i can do?

im assuming this would make him noisy in his wind?? i dont think without surgery there is much physically you can do for him, apart from not making him use himself too much ie galloping ect! Maybe make sure his airways dont suffer from any form of dust/complication so shavings bed and soaked hay ect, damp feed!

he gets noisy after a canter only done this twice i think, hes on shavings but i havent soaked my hay will start doing that

Are you sure it is LP? has the vet endoscoped?

My big orange chap had grade 5 LP (the worst you can get) and he had to have a tie back and hobday operation. Nothing else really helps them as the larynx is paralysed and you cant do anything about it (bar surgery)!

as a hack he should cope with the work load, have a chat with your vet about his condition and see if he has any other idea of how to make him more comfortable!

yes he was endoscoped buy the vet and diagnosed with it not sure grade would have to check paper work but he stood like a trooper 4 it its horrid
