nothing to do with horses, but just to say RIP to tim(timothy) atkinson who died in the laser 4000 nationals on the 2nd day of racing at abersoch, north wales.

my uncle was there competing & said that it was a big loss to the sport..
we were also there watching & supporting my uncle & everyone seemed shocked at the whole situation..it was a very sombre mood allround.

their boat capsized & he drowned basically..

rumours were that he got stuck underneath the boat & then got caught in some rope
