I went off to Patchetts today for the unaffliated dressage and as I am going back to uni on wednesday this will be Honey and I's last competition until i home next (november).

Having finally got her canter in an outline I went there really hoping to get a good mark. I decided to do the P14 and P18 and be a wimp and not do the Novice!

Well the morning didn't start well, first of all I couldn't find my white saddlecloth and then couldn't find my show shirt and came to the conclusion sister has taken it back to Boarding school with her (she has her horse with her)! So mum ended up buying me a new show shirt when we arrived, timed it well they were 20% off!!

First off was the P14 and she did a nice relaxed test with the only real blip being hollowing in first canter transition and being crooked in her right canter. So was dissapointed with 63%. We finished 6th in the end
Then came P18 a test I normally get plus 65% in so again was feeling confident. Again honey did a nice test, relaxed and in a consistant outline but lost marks for her crooked right canter. She scored 64% to finish 7th= with one of her best collectives. Still a bit disappointed though as she was getting higher marks when her canter was hollow!

But Honey has had a good and successful summer especially for a horse with Navicular and bone spavin and L stamped on her back!

Sorry long post and no photos as mum was trying to film instead
