Last night my yard held a jumping night, all very nice, low key and fun. Decided that I would jump one of my girls, Zara, neither of us have been out since December due to my injury (trapped sciatic nerve), so just did the 75cms and it was full up height. Well what fun, the course was causing a few problem and also only three horses against six ponies, anyway first four to go in all had faults, so off I go reminding myself that I must breath
and my girl did me proud, she popped round like a little star for a rather nice clear, as for me I was puffing like a Dray Horse, was knackered
, anyway the last two ponies to go both went clear, so Jump Off, well it was rather twisty and then the last fence was a double of planks but was a long run to them, anyway first pony went in and went round in a fast time (39.42), so in I go and wow, my girl did some unbelievable turns, one that nobody else had done and she ping over everything, I was so so pleased with her, so went round in 36.02
, so next pony goes in and she tried, but it all went very wrong for her, so my lovely lady won her class, I was really please with her, just a shame I let her down by been so unfit. Anyway we are off Trailblazer SJ at the week so fingers crossed we have a repeat performance.
