Latex bit bandage-anyone used it?

has anyone used latex bit bandage before and would you recomend it?

It is one of those things that I ALWAYS make sure I have in the tackroom, and this particular one is by far the best.

I agree with the above, something I would always have in my tack room. It is especially useful for youngsters and teaching them to mouth the bit. I also have a very sensitive mare who hates the feel of metal in her mouth touching her but chews through non metal bits and isn't happy in them either so have found the latex bit wrap to be a happy alternative. She happily accepts the bit when wrapped and goes sweetly and accepts a contact where she would otherwise have resisted.

Be careful though as some horses can be allergic to latex.
