Anyone have anything to say about these? Particularly about when they're used a lot, or are old? I borrowed my instructor's ones and they were great, but having never clipped before I don't know if they really are any good or not as I have nothing to compare to!
Any comments appreciated!

I had some and they died in a serious fashion. Had had on and off probs with them right from day one, so not a greta fan am afraid!!

Didn't have mine too long, found they heated up very quickly and weren't really 'man' enough for the job. I think they could have coped with the work of a one horse owner, but i clip 4 of mine out and regularly hog and trim up a couple of them well and i found that they were a bit lacking in the stamina dept tbh... having said that this was a couple of years ago and they may well have changed them by now!!

Hmm doesn't sound good then! I only have one but by the time I get round to clipping first time, she's really wooly and it took me about four hours to learn to blanket clip. Clippers needed charging in between but did get very hot (I had two blades to use to have one set cooling and one set in use but they eventually needed changing quite often!)
Just wondered about the long-term use but I think I'd be better off looking at different ones by the sound of it!

Ohh, you use the rechargeable ones?! If you need battery ones, go for the Heinigers, pricey but there are a pair on Ebay at the moment. They are brilliant IMHO the best on the market.

Scrooge - I would go for some like that but I really got on with the clip-on blades on the Lazors, which is the only reason I was looking at them and not Heinigers. I did use the re-chargeable ones but wouldn't mind a belt battery pack.
M_M - thanks for that I'll have a look!

having a spot of bother with mine at the moment, hoping its a blade problem- suddenly stopped cutting half way through a trace clip
