Has anyone out there been using the lungeing system Laura uses on Horse Hero and if so what do they think about it ?

Its so expensive I am reluctant to go ahead before canvassing opinions - thanks everyone

I've started using some draw reins attached to the bit, through the front legs and up over his wither/back for lungeing my boy, he goes lovely in it and cheap as chips !

Do you mean the Kavalkade Ho? If so, i have made one, cost me £5, my horse goes fab in it. Such a handy bit of kit, once lunging finished, slip off, wrap up and put in your pocket in a bout 3 secs flat.

If it is not the Kavalkade Ho then ignore the above.

Edited to add, i have previously used the Pessoa, far to fiddly and my boy did not like the strap round his bum.

hi, I have the leather caveson part which I was going to put on ebay. you would only need to get a rope part.as far as I know whoever sells them can do the ropes seperatley. lost my rope and I don`t have the horse anymore. you are welcome to make me an offer. I can email some pic`s to make sure it`s the same item. it`s full size.

I have used one of these for years .I call it a lunging rope but have heard it called various things.
I have treated myself to the HHeros one it's lovely very nice quality , but you can make one your self very easily .you need round smooth rope two clips and a martingale stop the type you use in the middle of the neck strap not the riens .
Fix the clips i stitched with plaiting thread and used pullers to pull the neddle through then bound tightly with duck tape to the rope at either end pull the rope through the martingale bung in its middle and use it as a toggle to adjust the length
They are a great way to help weak horses learn to move over their backs and they don't overbending them I think they work best combined with poles on the ground single ones and trotting poles.
