I planned on altering my fencing to fence behind a hedge instead of infront as it currently is. Its easily done but i see there is laurel in the hedge which I've looked up and found to be mildly poisonous but dependent on horses health and that they will rarely eat it anyway.
Would you put plans on hold and try to kill/remove the bush somehow? Its quite big!
From the various sites I've looked at they probably wont eat it and tbh they can probably reach it if they had wanted too already but i never see them try.

It's humungously intrusive. I'd cut it back heavily. We have a bush in the garden & after cutting back, have needed to reseed the lawn & resurrect the hedges killed from lack of light.
