Neighborino started up lawnmower behind the hedge while horsey and I were having a school. Just one half-hearted leap forward and then horse settled down nicely and forgot about it. Two years ago he would have put me on the moon. What a brave boy - am very proud mum tonight!
Neighbour was mowing the lane between our fields - don't ask me why. Friend of mine used to say lawns were a sign that god had a sense of humour.
