I have a fairly lazy 5 year old. Someone has suggested i hunt him, but ive never been before and im not very brave. Do you think it would help in getting him going forward.

definately! it encourages even the most backwards horse to go forwards. and to develop their balance and sure footedness and bravery.

if you don't want to take him, ask someone who you trust to take him for you.

go for it, it'll be fun, and you might even get hooked like the rest of us!

Has helped my lad to an extent - have spent the last 6 mnths at the front of the field without any need to 'kick on', but still find him very laid back/lazy at home!!
