LAZY WARMBLOOD

Hi Gang - Any tips for getting a lazy warmblood to canter. Very green and hasn't done alot - does canter but makes you feel like a pony club kicker!!! Don't want to turn her dead to the leg!!! Any tips on getting her going.

What aids do you currently use to ask for canter? How responsive is she in the other paces? What about out hacking?

Also, how old is she and is she balanced?
Can you get her to canter on the lunge?
And is she fit/what are you feeding her?

I have a lazy warmblood who I ride in spurs but I wouldn't recommend this unless your aids are accurate and your leg secure. Would try other things first.
