LD 2!! Its finally starting to come together!!!

This weekend saw us head to our most local venue, Little downham for the BE90! Our prep has been kind of non existent with my sister's wedding last weekend taking over so he had a few days off and then i barely schooled him and instead took him to the beach for some fun!!

Anywho back to LD!! Thankfully they listened to my plea for late times, so with a lovely 11am dressage i had a nice lie in!

Our dressage was lovely for a 31, although once again my mum was writing for my section so im definitely going to start bribing her with wine for some 8s!! however im so pleased with him in this phase he’s been very consistent so far this season, its nice to see where our hard work is finally going!! ❤️

Showjumping was much improved, the aim today was a flowing round and that’s just what we got!! Minus my sat nav error from 2-3 - honestly i did walk my course!!! We just had the 1 down - fence 8 an upright where we ran down on the forehand to it I just needed to sit him on his hocks a little more, always something to improve on but super chuffed with him!! 😃

Xc... the usual machine an absolute stonking clear round 😍 too fast again so had to do a tactile steady up 3/4s of the way round to come in with just .4 of a time fault 🙈 he just finds it sooo much fun to go fast!! 🤣

Ended our day with 35.7 to come 8th!! 😍😍 what a little legend!! So pleased with my awesome little horse!! ❤️❤️❤️

Oh very good job, well done. Sounds like he's going brilliantly in all 3 phases and making the step up nicely. Beach outing sounds fab.

Thanks, if i can get some more sj prep in i may think about a step up to 100 by the end of the season! Beach was epic!! :D

They did amazingly with the ground given the recent conditions but as its my local venue i know just how much pride she puts into running a good event so never worried about the ground! Beach was amazing thanks!!
