Le Mieux X-Grip Saddle cloth

I have been looking at the le mieux dressage x-grip saddle cloth. They are expensive, however, everyone seems to have sold out of the black, so guessing they are popular! Just wondered what people thought of them, and if they are worth the money?

my mares saddle was slipping forwards, saddle fitter said unfortunately it was the horse not the saddle! as she was so green and on the forehand she was just shunting me forward, bought the pad and it worked 100%, cost me a fortune mind but was worth it to me - downside is that now she’s built up a lot of muscle behind her shoulder, it’s too thick so i can’t use it anymore, which is a bummer as it’s my only black one

so it was absolutely worth the money for me as it fixed my issue without trying to find a new saddle that would only last a short time anyway, or using a crupper which she definitely wouldn’t tolerate either.

i suppose it depends why you’re needing one! there’s a few on vinted though.

mine is the one with the grip on both sides, so sticks to the horse and the saddle.
