Lead a yearling from the bit or noseband for showing?

I am taking my yearling to his first show and i am wondering whether to lead him from the bit or not,i don't really want to. Sure someone posted about some sort of attachment or something? Any help much appreciated.

Yes you can have a lead attachment that goes onto both noseband and the bit just in case you need a little back up. I led my cob from 16 months off the bit - not because he was naughty, but he was a big strong chap if something had set him off.

The middle strap goes up behind the noseband and round the throatlash, the sides obviously buckle round the bit. It's really good as you can't jag the horse in the mouth if it jumps around.
