I'm taking my wee sister to her first show on the 18th of july and have entered her in a few classes that arent necessarily going to be lead rein classes speciffically. But it is fine with the organisers. It is a small local show, and i was wondering what I am meant to wear, will i be all right wearing my show stuff as im competing basically straight after her
classes and dont want to waist to much time faffing around.

Also will she get marked down for wearing white jodphurs, some are showing classes but she doesnt suit beige or canary jods, she looks ridiculous in them. oh and she's just turned six, if mum would let her do the classes by herself she would be but its not an option at the moment due to mum being a woose

All the local unaff classes round here have an assortment of lead rein leaders outfits, inlcuding people in kit ready to compete such as yourself, so am sure it will be fine. However they do try to match - things like your ties, and little sister's hair ribbons, similar colour jackets etc. So am sure if you matched in the jods department, then it won't be looked down upon.

Unfortunately you can't not wear something in showing because it doesn't suit you - difficult to see what difference it will make to how a six year old looks if her jods are beige or canary rather than white. She should really have canary. I am really fussy and picky about correct wear tho sorry! Difficult to say with local shows it's so difficult because some are still pretty formal where some are really relaxed and anything goes. As long as you are smart in your show stuff that should be fine unless it's a specific lead rein class then they usually where the skirt suits etc but I take it you are a younger lady and just going in as support in other classes? As it's your little sisters first show I would just go and have some fun but let us know what classes you have put her in for if need more help.
