hi got a lovelly pair of long leather riding boots for christmas me not the horse one fits fine the other is very tight any advice on how to streatch them

I had this problem with mine and the advice I was given was as follows!
My tackshop did not stretch boots so that option was out so was elastic inserts as tightness was on calf.
1) Stuff with wet newspaper to expand them.
2) Fill a plastic bag with water in tight area and then stick them in the freezer
3) See if your tack shop will stretch them.
4) Put and elastic insert in.
