i think my chaps have increased largely in size... or my legs have shrunk ridiculously!
i bought my nice leather chaps about 2 years ago... and they are HUGE now for me so much so im looking to buy a new pair as they are just silly big... i can't think that they ever fitted me!
so a few things:
there is no way i can make them smaller i geuss?
and if not what make would you suggest, fairly short legs, normal width.. need to be smart as they would be part of my "smart" gear
Thanks.

If you like them in that they're comfy (or were when they fitted) and they still look smart (not worn for a while perhaps?) I'd consider taking them to an old fashinoned cobbler and seeing if they can remove a strip of leather (perhaps take zip off and re--stitch).

i wear them reguarly, most weekends for competing/hunting. they are comfy though, just stupidly big.
i might see if they can take a bit out of it.. hope so as i look huge in them!

Yes, it's easy to get your saddler to put them on you, mark them with chalk to fit you and take the zips off cut to size the suede or if you have leather, leather and then re sew the zips back on on the sewing machine.
Job done!
