Leather cleaning

Further to the Tack cleaning post..further down... Which leather cleaners/conditioners do you use? I looked up Effax & found a couple of different types. Which is your fave? Is it the NAF leather balsam that people us?

Just wondering

Good old Saddle Soap, Coach -a- line and Brasso or Metal Cleaner.

And plenty of elbow grease

Effax and NAF are two different stuffs. Jefferies, stubben etc also make a good one. Anything that feeds and nourisges the leather, not saddle soap, neatsfoot oil, spray on stuff, ko-cho-line or any of these type of crap.

Carr day and Martin, Belvoir Leather Conditioner Step 2. Brilliant stuff for budget.

Albion Swiss Formula Lether Balsam for a slightly more expensive treat, although it is quite greasy it softens old cracked leather in minutes.

I thought Neatsfoot oil conditioned and fed the leather?

I use the Effax in a brown tub. It smells GORGEOUS!
