I am about to get my quarterly bonus so I thought I would treat myself and get a new leather girth.
Can anyone suggest a nice girth (price not a major issue though I'm not spending £150!)? My horse is very "girthy" and won't tolerate anything like Cottage Craft fabric girths, nor is he particularly keen on synthetics.
I quite like the look of the Kentaur girths, and my saddler recommends them. Any thoughts on these? It is for a jumping saddle, not DR. I also like the Cotswold Sport contoured ergonomic girths but they stop at a 52in - I need a 56in. Would prefer elastic at both ends if it has to be elasticated.
Thanks
