Ive never used one before as ive always had professionals choice but i had a Saddle Company saddle fitted to the new horse and i constantly feel im falling to the left. The saddle, leathers and girth are all brand new and bought/fitted from a Saddle Company Saddler.
Yesterday my mum told me the saddle was slipping slightly and im wondering if the leather girth is getting slippy from sweat and making the saddle move?

Anyone had anything like this before?

I don't think a well-fitted saddle with a leather girth should slip. I believe you can get non-slip covers for girths as well as a gel numnah for the saddle, but first I'd go back the the saddle company and ask them to look at it again. Is he a very round type of horse? Also, have you tried with your old girth to see if it makes a difference?

I've always used leather firths and never had a problem. Maybe give your saddler a call and get him/her to come out and double check the fit for you.

I messaged her yesterday so waiting for a reply.
She asked me to measure the leathers initally as im riding one side on the 11th hole and the other side on the 10th. There is barely a mm difference so i cant blame them.

Its very odd indeed!
